Deedar

This little restaurant, it really is more like an up market cafe, is splendid. Certainly the best Paneer dishes I have ever tasted, look out for Palak Paneer, spinach with Indian cottage cheese. The menu is not overcrowded, but it just has enough selection to give you plenty of choices for starters main courses & extras, their Naan bread is extremely good, big & tasty.
Although many things in the Indian Food section are rising in price very fast indeed, especially rice, flour & oil. The value for money here is outstanding. Service is always cheerful & quick. If I were to make one criticism, they could be a bit more adventurous with their Wine list, the plonk really is "plonk"

Deedar is ace. I have just been travelling and working abroad for 10 months and the one food from England that we missed was our Deedar korma. Friendly hardworking staff too - brilliant.
