Desi Khana Perdesi

I visited Desi Khana with my family on the back of recomendations and word of mouth. Having been disappointed by recomendations in the passed, I was sceptical but was pleasently surprised. One of the best Balti's we have had coupled with attentive and friendly service. Overall good decor, nice ambience, great 'traditional' cuisine - Parking would have been the icing on the cake.

I went for a visit with the Falcon Diners Club, and this has been one of the highlights of my excursions with this exclusive group. This is 'real' Indian food - or as real as you can get in this country: lots of spices and subtle flavouring that you don't get in your typical UK Indian restaurant. Definitely recommended.

the best, having worked in the restuarant trade for 10 years eat in dozens of restaurants all over the world, if you want traditional food the desi khana is the place to go.

there is no restaurant better food wise.

the staff are good and the place has had an uplift.

all these other resturants dont know a good curry if it hit them in the face. trust me.

Fantasic food- and very attentive staff. We had a couple of Americans who'd never had curry before and were wary. The manager took ages talking them through their likes and dislikes and provided them with great food (not too hot).

14 of us ate for about £170. Sounds a good price to me!

Chairs are amazing too.

The mango lasee is fabulous.

Obviously home made food, all cooked fresh. A gem.

fantastic service and fresh delicous traditional food. They have a good menu with healthy options too. My husband and I go there often and my little boy loves there food too.
