Lahore Karahi Halal Chinese

One food, excellent, great service, great food, the lot, the staff ar really freindly, and the food was mazing, i only started going to lahore karahi chinese a few months ago, i have already been back 6-7 times, serious, dont listen to the reviews, this place is good, if you cant afford, just say so, dont give negative comments, the way i see it, you pay for what u get, end of, long live lahore karahi chinese.

well,iv heard enough!!!

i used to manage the lahore karahi halal restaurant in highgate rd,brum upto last year,and now im running the international side of it...the food is unique and fabulous...as for some of the negative comments below....i can answer them truthfully....

firstly,the service is good,not excellent,but very good considering how busy the restaurant is....

secondly,if you book a table,let them know when you get there....but like most people,just because there are less people than originally booked or they turn up very late,they dont bother telling us!!

thridly,the prices have been held for the past 7 years...what else do you want!!!

...and if you have an y other doubt before visiting the restaurant,take a look at the awards they have recieved over the past couple of years!!!

...and one vital thing i should mentionj....the dished are per person servings..not per table servings!!!so,if your thinking of ordering 2 dishes for 5 people...your better of with the takewaway service the restaurant offers or the cheaper alternatives across the road!!!

What can I say? I went yesterday and i was hugely dissapointed.

Uncooked pakoras x 2 - yes it does happen if you have the oil too hot chef!

I pre ordered the lobster over the phone (as a surpirse birthday present for our mum) and when we all got our mains - NO LOBSTER!! He forgot to take it out of the freezer - even though I mentioned it again when placing out orders!

We said we would not pay the10% service charge they said "fine but we wont serve you next time"!

Hows that for customer service. No wonder it was empty!

Never again. Neither should you.

The service is reasonable, the food is nice, but it is somewhat overpriced, which is surprising as it is not a city centre restaurant.

The food is decent enough though, worth a try certainly.

this was a good restaurant once upon a time but i have been dissapointed the last couple of times. i dont know why but as soon as a place gets popular the quality goes down . its a shame

I have been coming to Lahore Chinese for a number of years now and each and every time the food gets better and better. There is numerous varieties of dishes to choose from including seafood, meat and chicken dishes, plentiful starters and mouthwatering desserts.

Each and every time the service has been excellent and the staff always ensure that you are not waiting for anything and do their very best to go that extra mile.

The cost is very respectable in terms of the quality, freshness and overall quantity of the food.

I have been to Lahore Chinese with my wife, children, family and work colleagues and every time they have excelled themselves.

I would definitely recommend this reataurant to others but strongly recommend booking at weekends as it can get rather busy.

Hi there,

I used to eat regularly at lahore chineese with family, however i feel there quality and there portions have gone down.. the price you pay in comparison to the quality is no longer to the standard to what it used to be unfortunately, eventhough we used to enjoy eating at lahore chinees.
