Lahore Karahi

had our christmas party at lahore karahi chinese, it was my first time and quiet alot of party has never been here before. The staff where really freindly and we got to meet the owners on the night and it was great having a good chat with them, the food was excellent, we had booked for 26 people, and everyone really enjoyed the food.

Some of us had chinese and some indian, it was great dipping my nan in some Hoi sin sauce ha.

anyway i would highly recommend this place

The most terrible food ever. Had gone with a few friends having been recommended by work colleagues. I was told that it was fairly pricey, yet you received good portions of food, i did not mind paying the little extra. However when receiving my roasted duck in hoi sin sauce, it only contained a few shards of meat. I was disgusted. Then asking politely whether this was a normal portion, the waiter smiled and said enjoy your food.. Will never be going to the place again!!

order a takeaway from lahore chinese over the weekend and it tasted really nice, its my first time trying halal chinese and i was amazed how much i like it,

went with the family yesterday for ifftiari and again great food, great service, great place.

Had my sons birthday party at lahore karahi last sunday . There was 15 of us and everyone really enjoyed themselves, the service was good and the food was excellent,

I had the hot the sour soup highly recommended, Chicken munchiaum with house special rice, for desert i had rasmaili,

Overall the place looks great and the family loved it, Keep the good work up lahore

Me and my family came to lahore karahi for our first time last week after being reccomended by my freind, when we first walked in the decor and surrounding of the restaurant where very nice, felt very warm and welcoming, we has a variety of food from chinese and pakistani and we where not dissapointed the food was delicous and great value for money, everyone in my family liked the food and we will be telling our freinds and family all about it, there also do home deliveries now so i know me and my family will be using the service.

My wife and I visited the restaurant on the 21st May 2009 and were very disappointed. I had the hot and sour soup which was delicious and my wife had the Thai chicken soup which was also very good. Unfortunately the main course was poor. I had the honey and lemon chicken which tasted awful and my wife had a lamb and vegetable dish. The lamb was as tough as leather. The meat didn’t taste right, as if it hadn’t been cooked properly. Although the egg fried rice was nice.

The meal was not value for money. The toilets were appalling. Although there were very few people in the restaurant the waiters were determined to get rid of us and kept hurrying us along. While we were still eating the main course, the waiter brought over the desert menu and while we were still enjoying our drinks the waiter without being prompted brought the bill.

There are better Chinese restaurants then this in Birmingham.

i have been going there for last 4 years and the food is very nice, they will serve you food which is not around anywhere else in midlands :)

i was recommended by a friend and went last sunday for a meal, the food was excellent, there was 8 of us, and everyone enjoyed there food and service, i would reccomend this place to everyone who loves a fusion of Asain stroke chinese food, i would also recommend the Szechuan dishes, my favorite. Well worth the price.

Vistied with the whole family as we were visting Birmingham. We live in London. What can i say; overpriced, food tasteless and bland, decor horribile, toilets disgusting ( taps coming apart) 10% added on service even though service was 5/10. Save your money & go anywhere else, I'm sure it will be better.

Excellent went last week for a girlie meal out. Atmosphere is great - bit pricey by the food and service was excellent. Will definately go again!
