i went to punjab paradise with some friends, it was the first time any of us had been there. so anyways it was a friday night and people were comming in and out it wasnt too busy. so anyways we ordered our food and we were having a great time chatting and catching up, we got bought some popadomes and then about half an hour after ordering we still hadnt got out starters then after another 10minutes we asked the waiter and he sed it should be out shortly, so after another 10mins we asked again and he went to check and came back and said that they had lost the slip that they wrote our order on. so anyways by this time we were starving and we were going to walk out but the waiter insisted we would get our food next so we stayed and after 1hr and 35 mins we got our food finally, it was ok not worth the wait. will not be going back.

Always so friendly here - great spot on Ladypool Road too. Ideal if you want to carry on after drinking in Moseley or if you want a quiet family occassion a bit earlier on in the evening.

first time at the punjab on new years eve, service was excellent as was the meal.
it was very busy and there was a very mixed crowd and everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time.

I love this place. I have never had a meal at the Punjab Paradise I didn't enjoy.
The menu is varied and the food's great - and very reasonably priced. They do the best nan breads I've ever tasted. Both the plain and the Peshwari nans are delicious. The staff are really friendly and attentive but never over the top.
The decor may be a bit early '90s but that's part of the charm.

I visited the Punjab Paradise for the first time this evening. The food was fast to arrive but we were a little disappointed as the flavor was quite bland for a curry especially a Madras. Very tender meat though. The staff were very nice and the decor was quite beautiful. Nice and clean too. Go Back?....Yes, I would.

i went to the punjab on ladypool road in birmingham. it is the first time i have ever been there - we only went in because the waiter came out and begged us to go in and so we did and i can say it was ok, not the best but not the worst. i had the meat and mushroom curry madras - hot but it wasn't hot enough for me but everything else was very good. waiters was very helpful and i will go back again.

I have been going to the Punjab with my friends for years, we love it!! I recently took my mother and grandmother there and they too really enjoyed the food. Agreed, the baltis arent the most spectacular i've had but they always tastey, are never greasy, and you dont wait an age for it to arrive, which is more than I can say for a lot of the curry houses I have been to.
Its great for big groups as the food is cheap and you can bring your own alcohol.
I will be remaining a loyal customer, infact im going tonight!
