We were courteously seated immediately upon entering. With friendly help from the waiters and the more Balti-experienced of our own group, we made choices from a very large menu. Almost immediately huge, roughly circular pieces of flat bread (called nan) appeared at our table. We soon became adept at tearing off pieces and using them as scoops to consume the delicious mideastern food that followed. The food was wonderful, the service excellent, and the atmosphere exotic.

Noticed there are numerous good reviews from people who have visited this restaurant, but the expensive home delivery we've received this evening has been one of the very worst excuses for a meal I have ever ordered from any curry house and I'm disgusted that they actually have right to represent the famous Balti Triangle with such trash.

Firstly the curries where so small that I've actually seen more in side dish from most curry houses and they were in fact in delivered a side dish container, yet the prices were expensive, so we expected much better. The so called "nans" where more like Chapatis and were burnt, also they weren't the garlic and cheese nans that we ordered.

My friend's so called "mild" curry was so hot, he was very uncomfortable and was soon gasping for a drink, yet he can normally eat quite hot curries, the curry itself which was meant to be a tropical balti was very poor in comparison to tropical baltis served elsewhere. My vegetarian curry wasn't too bad, although it was obviously ridiculously small and the couple of poppadoms we ordered were reasonable, but there weren't any free ones thrown in which is often a sign of a good curry house. The only real compliment was the jug of Lassi which was decent quality, although quite expensive and there was substantially less in their jug than when we eat out at Saleems in the Balti Triangle which was also a fair bit cheaper, incidentally I thoroughly recommend Saleems, I only wish they'd deliver.

We have spent £25 and 2 of us don't even feel full. For this kind of money, I expected something special from a home food delivery, especially from the famous Balti Triangle, but instead I'm left bitterly disappointed and we certainly won't be using Punjab Paradise ever again.

(Put 5 for atmosphere which isn't relevant from a home delivery)

fantastic!! one of the best curry houses in bham, and ive been to alot. staff are very friendly and the menu is very reasonable. it helps because you can take your own alcohol (what a bonus) we have had many parties there and the staff bend over backwards to help you.

Nice food, good service. Had a lovely meal there on Friday night, it was recomended to us by our boss who has been going there for years and have to say i wasn't disappointed.

Ask for the balti to have a little kick if you like them spicey as they are normally mediumish....

The bill was reasonable and we were able to take out own drinks which made it even better.

Yes will be going back.
