The food, I'm sorry to say, does not hold up to the quality one expects in Birmingham. I would suggest trying others on Ladypool Rd/ Stoney Lane/ Moseley Rd. This was just poor - the chicken had been boiled and then jest heated in a pre-made suce. The meat (lamd) dish was far too spicy (the spices weren't balanced properly).

Service was friendly.

Sorry - but Sallems need to take the bad reviws along with the good.

Quite simply the best in Brum. Once you eat here you won't bother going anywhere else - there is no point. Great food, great value, comedy service.

I remember Saleem's as the official University of Birmingham Medical School Curry House, but it's much smarter now! The food is excellent and the service attentive. Following my return to Brum and to Saleem's, I bullied Saleem into preparing home-made kulfi (I think he makes it just for me, although there now seems to be a small stock kept in the freezer). The kulfi is SUBLIME.

Saleems is by far the best curry i have ever tasted.I lived in Moseley for 15 years and frequented it regularly.I have now moved to Stourbridge (Near Lye)The so-called Back country balti belt and having tried many local restaraunts have now given up and now if i fancy a curry i am more than happy to make the 25 mile round trip (and bring a couple home to put in the Freezer) Readers -STOP wasting your time and money elsewhere. I guarantee this will not only be the best curry you have ever tasted but probably the best meal full stop. The ONLY place i ever eat lamb is Saleems - Its delicous !! Poppadoms - Perfect - Shami Kebab starter - Incredible !!!!
