This restaurant has got to be by far the very best of the best. It was very quiet when we went in there on a Wednesday night with my wife and 2 children. We were welcomed by the owner’s brother who was very helpful and polite. For starters we had chicken pakora, lamb tikka, seekh kebab, and lush tandoori fish! These starters were prepared by the owner himself. They were the best we've had ever. For mains I had a chicken tikka keema masala jalfrazee which had a lip licking sauce that i can still taste. My wife ordered a chicken tikka king prawns masala dopiaza which was extensively great! The kids had some onion bhajis that are served like onion rings. Peshwari nans here are undoubtedly the best, they are well filled and have golden syrup on top, you'll get dirty eating but its worth it. We now visit the Shabab twice a week. They are the 'Originators of Birmingham's Balti Triangle.'
They are open until 4am on Fri and Sat nights. Reputable restaurant that deserves credit.

The first time I visited this restaurant was with my girlfriend on a very busy Saturday night. We were politely asked to wait and had a table within ten minutes. For starters we shared lamb tikka, chicken tikka, fish pakora and gorgeous shami kebaab. These starters were quality, served with a unique onion mint dip with some red stuff in there. For mains I ordered a lamb tikka keema masala rogan josh balti madras and my girlfriend had a chicken tikka king prawns and mushroom dopiaza. I ordered a peshwari nan which was well filled and glazed with golden syrup, (bit messy, but very enjoyable). The restaurant states they are the 'Originators of Birminghams Balti Triangle' undoubtedly they are. We now visit the restaurant regularly.
