We visited Zeb's last night with friends who had been several times with good experiences. Not last night though! It took 2 hours for our main courses to come and when they did they were cold. When the food had been properly heated up, we found it very greasy and one of the dishes wasn't what we had ordered. The manager offered to replace all the food but we had had enough by then and asked for the bill. In the end we only paid 50%. The manager confirmed that the restaurant was under new management and I have to say that this lot won't last long. We certainly won't be back and nor will our friends or indeed their friends, so last night's performance has lost them at least 12 patrons.

We were very disappointed with our visit to Zebs on Saturday. We had seen the positive reviews and thus chose this restaurant from the many on Ladypool Road. As visitors to the area we really enjoy the Balti triangle as it is often the highlight of our trips to Birmingham.

The food in Zebs was bland, and far too greasy. My Chicken dish was tough and tasteless. with too much red food colouring in it. Side orders ordered were not brought to the table.

All in all - try somewhere else! We certainly will be.

WOW - Zebs has most certainly hit the spot! my wife and i have experienced many indian restaurants around the world but Zebs have that special touch...the chili chicken is mouth watering and the young lads who serve are just amazing who always have something to talk about and make it a rememerable evening everytime. Well Done!

Competition between restaurants is as hot as the spice in the Balti triangle and although East is East and West is West they meet at Zebs where Balti meets haute cuisine at traditional Balti prices. There's no menu inlaid on glass tables, no pappadoms with dip rushed onto the table on your arrival and no black balti dishes. but what you do have is modern decor, cloth napkins, superb assorted starters served on sizzle platters and most important a Chicken tikka Balti served in a stainless steel Balti Dish featuring a superb sauce without lashings of that apalling red food colouring that characterizes some Tikkas. In the words of Spock, "its Balti Jim but not as we know it," but Zebs is reccomended.
