The food here has been consistantly good for over 20 years.
The staff are friendly and knowlegable abour thier menu and the portions are large without being excessive. They don't serve alcohol but thier is no corkage charge for bringing your own. (there is a shop selling alcohol oppersite the Raja)
Despite being called a'Tandoori' house, most of the menu is Balti's and the family naan is enought for at least four people.
The cost is very reasonable, there is parking outside, or in nearby side streets and I see the same people in there an a regular basis - surely a good sign?!

I only discovered the Raja about 3 years ago and have not found any where else for taste and sevice.
On average I try to go at least once a month. Even the children like to go.

ive been a raja custumer for over 16years there are the best in bearwood there service is brilliant and very friendly they have just refurbished the resturant
