Myself family & friends have eaten here a lot over the last 4 years or so. We prefer Saturday (or Sunday ) lunchtime as it not so hectic. It gets a bit noisy in the evening with hen/stagg parties stopping off on the way to Broad st.
It is a great place to while away the afternoon. The ambiance is very pleasant with the piano player in the back ground. The food on the whole is very good, (although there were a few problems when they were without a permanent chef, we voiced our concerns to the management who were very appologetic & offered free drinks.) The staff are great & i always feel well looked after .

We turned up on a Saturday night at 7;45 Four in our party, without a reservation and even though the restaurant was very busy the manager found us a table straightaway. We really enjoyed the food and had a full 3 course meal and for what it cost (just under £120) we thought this was very good. The waitress was very attentative and nothing was too much trouble.
Even though it was busy we were under no rush to leave our table after finishing our meal and it was a relaxing evening. We would highly recommend it for a meal out but perhaps making a reservation would be a good idea. All in all a good place to eat.
