The cafe soya, is a lovley place to eat no matter what the ocassion. The astomosphere has a tradtional chinese , yet modern feel to it. This has got to be my favouritre resturante in Birmingham, because the food tastes fantastic and once you have tried it you want to go back for more. There is so much food to choose from including dim sums to Vegetieran food and there is also a child menu, so kids are welcome at this resturant which is nice.

The staff at this resturant are very friendly and we even know a few by name too,

which is nice.

This resturant even caters for parties and i ahve to admit the food here is the best in china town and value for money,

We have been loyal customers to cafe soya for about three years now, mainly for the variety of vegetarian options. In the past, we have always noted a couple of things that weren't quite right but have never made them a big issue as there aren't many places in Birmingham that do so much tasty vegetarian food. However, we have only ever built ourselves up to complain twice. once when they got our take away wrong, I am allergic to egg so when we rang for a take away it was highly unlikely we would have ordered a dish containing egg, yet the manager insisted it was our order and that she was not in the wrong. Even though it ruined our meal that evening she couldn't care less and insisted it was our mistake.

Secondly, we always order the same dish as we enjoy it so much, during our last visit, which was on the Chinese new year, this dish was extremely salty. To the point where we couldn't eat it even if we had to. When we told the manager she didn't want to do anything about it and told us that we always complain! I couldn’t believe this as this was a complete lie. She was so rude to the point that she got the chef to remake less than half of the food we had ordered. I felt uncomfortable and to be honest scared to eat what was being concocted and at that we left, never to return. Be warned, they are penny pinchers who don't care one bit about their customers!
