Hotel Du Vin & Bistro

This is definitely one of the best hotels in Birmingham. The Bistro is very relaxed, with excellent food and excellent wine.

There is a broad range of food to choose from, without the menu being too extensive, and the food is always beautifully fresh and tasty.

Service is always top notch too and the staff are always interesting in making sure that their customers have a pleasurable experience.

I love it.

HDV restaurant is a very warm and relaxed place with fantastic food and typically French service with, of course, amazing wine. I suggest the chap who didn't like it be more suited to one of those "all you can eat" £5.99 style buffets.

Having friends staying from london we decided to try the restaurant at there hotel. Unfortunately this was a big mistake! The Sommellier was slow and patronising my starter was as far from a proper rillette as i could imagine and the mains lacklustre. To attract the waiters standing on a chair and waving would be advised. Generally don't bother.
