This closed last year, do you need to note this!?
Although it was wonderful while it lasted!!
The chef has now moved to Brockencote Hall, in Chaddesley Corbett.

How can I tell you? You're just going to have to go. La Toque d'Or is the most luxurious and delicious dining experience I've found. Known to a small 'cult' of loyal diners, it's not easy to spot down a little alleyway in the Jewellery Quarter. But one visit tells you it's well worth hunting out. Book a table, and you reserve it for the entire evening; you may only see half a dozen other diners that night. Contrary to any worries you might have about an exclusive restaurant being snobbish or intimidating, the waiting staff here are unpretentious and discreet. The Toq D'Or's menu holds delights not frequently found. The prices may not be cheap but the bill for your three courses-plus-wine includes an array of little delicacies brought to you as extras between every course.
