Taj Mahal

After being a veggie since birth, you can imagine my absolute horror as we're tucking into our veggie curry, only to find meat (lamb) in there. And I'd already eaten some of mine.

We complained, and the waiter was apologetic, but this really not good enough – esp since we had stipulated that we did not eat meat.

I wouldn't have minded so much, but the place was empty! We were the only table in there – and only three of us!

Used to order from Spice In The City/ Taj Mahal regularly after having been recommended by a friend. Was really impressed, but over past 6 months I feel it has gone downhill as the last couple of times I ordered, the take-away dishes were only filled half the way up for both rice and curry... Not really enough for 1 person. Disappointing. Great shame as food used to be great and very fresh.
