I visited Thai Orchid last night and it was even better than the previous couple of times I've been. Beautiful surroundings, food again superb, service friendly and efficient. Prices good rather than bargain but throughly recommended. I keep meaning to go to their lunchtime special but haven't yet made it.... some time soon I hope!

This is a wonderfully civilised restaurant with excellent and beautifully presented food. The surroundings are likewise in this historic building not far from the Cathedral. There's no loud music, brash waitresses or roudy customers. It's refined, elegant and tasteful. The staff are polite and helpful. They allow you to progress through your lovely meal at your pace, not theirs. The price reflects what you get. Well worth a visit (or two....)

The Thai Orchid restaurant is one of the most beautiful restaurants i've been to. It has amazing decor and a peaceful atmosphere. The food is great and served in a very stylish manner. I had the meal, so I dnt kno about the buffet. The service is also good. I dnt hav any negative comments about the place. Perfect for dates or small groups.
