Utopia The Bar

This is a great bar and restaurant for both informal and formal lunches, the staff are fantastic.

My friend and I parked outside the Utopia in the rain and not knowing the bar or the food we sought refuge inside. It was packed but we found space at the small tables. Food was delicious and plentiful. Staff were friendly, witty and cheerful. We were advised to book in advance next time so that we get a big table. We are definitely going there again!

I have been going to utopia the bar for about 4 years now and have seen the changes that have been made, both to service and food. Utopia has a fantastic menu that always has a twist. My colleagues and I have had our Christmas meals there for the last 3 years and are never without a 'WOW' when our meals arrive at the table. The service at Utopia is also great. We often go for lunch at Utopia, which has to be booked, there is no chance of being seated if you just walk in off the street. Suky, is a waitress that looks after us alot. She is very accomadating and efficiant, she always has a smile on her face. Overall I am very impressed with the service at Utopia, but Its the fantastic food and presentation I go back for.

I eat regularly for lunch here and enjoy the atmosphere and food. It is ideal for a quick or indeed a long lunch! The sandwiches are excellent and I recommend trying a special every now and again. This is also a great bar for drinking.

02/08/06 - 12 of us ate here today. Waited an hour for main course, an hour for dessert and then had to remind them 3 times to serve coffee. My Seabass - did not resemble fish in appearance/nor taste. Management did nothing to rectify the meal and was quite rude. I will NOT be visiting this venue again!
