We visited this restuarant 10 times in the past year. Food excellent, staff very friendly. But we won't be going back. Last visit, they had crammed in an extra row of tables, which made the room uncomfortably noisy and claustorphobic, the staff stressed with no time to talk, someone knocked over a glass of wine squeezing between two tables, service very slow. An evening ruined. Such a shame.

What a lovely surprise... was taken to Chennai as a guest, and for the first time in years actually feel like recommending a restaurant. Service was impeccable, the staff very professional with a friendly attitude. The food was extremely good. There was six in the party, and we shared a selection of starters suggested by the head waiter - fantastic!

The main menu - well I have never seen such a selection, and all our questions regarding preparation and ingredients were answered fully.

We had no room left for dessert!

Prices, again a nice surprise. For the quality of food and service, Extremely good value for money, for example, my Lamb Madras (plenty of meat) was £5.50. Papadom - 50p - nice and crisp - not soggy like some!

Ample parking. Great night out.
