What a shame! We have eaten many times at the Meynell Ingram Arms and it has been excellent but it changed hands in 2007 and the service last night was terrible. We had booked a table in the bar and after waiting ten minutes, had still not been given a menu and had to ask for one. We ended up having to ask for a wine list as well as no-one thought to bring one. Although the food was very good (the chef apparently is the same) we had to wait a long time to get it and several people complained about the temperature in the bar - the back door was left open most of the night and it was freezing!

We visited The Meynall Ingram Arms on a Tuesday evening. The bar area was very busy and we were directed to eat in the quieter restaurant area. The service was very good and the food excellent. Good value for money.

Went on a Saturday lunchtime and unless you booked there was a wait of an hour.
Food expensive and certainly not worth the wait.
They look after the regulars but we had to remind them twice that we had ordered our meal.
