Toby Carvery (Castle Bromwich)

Called in for an early evening carvery (4.30.pm) expecting to pay £3,50 ish but discovered that the price had almost doubled to £7.99. For that price we did not expect to be served food that had been on the serving hatch since early lunchtime. All of the meats were dried up along with the veg - the kale was like dried leaves and the potatoes had congealed. Really dissapointed especially when the chef had a 'take it or leave it' attitude to our comments about the state of the food.

Have had lots of really good family meals/occasions here on a regular basis but won't be returning.
