ive been using the shahimahal for over 25 years and having sampled many other restaurants all over the country ive always been glad to come back its simply the best in my opion always top service and best of all the food what more can you ask for either on my own or with family or friends would highly recommend

Ive been going to the shami for about 5 years now, The quality of the food is excellent...You can always expect one thing Consistency in their standards.

The food came relatively quickly after i had downed some fine wine..they have an unbelievable collection.

Overall, im definitely going back for good food, service and the relaxing ambience it offers

i've been going to the shami for many many years, i think i first started around 1990's and its my been my regular since. this is a place where a madras one day will be exactly the same the next day, week. with some places the taste differs from day to day but not here.

got to know the staff who are very kind but don't get in the way of your meal. always there to help.

i'm being biased as its my local curry house but i think the length of time its been here (30+) years says it all. within my 15 years or so going to the shami, i have seem many different staff, people but one things always the same. the shami at the fox and goose!

Went there for the first time and I have to say it was very enjoyable. Food was very good and you could tell it was real good indian food due to it being recommended by some asian friends. I tend to steer clear of places where asians wouldn't eat for obvious reasons.

Overall food very good, prices reasonable, service excellent and enjoyable night eating out.

Went for a meal for the first time it was very enjoyable. The food was excellent service was very complimentary. Overall had a good time and will definately be going back.
