Jessica's

A lot of fuss has been made about Jessica's so I finally got around to trying it. It was OK. The service was very good, the food was alright, but for the price it was nothing to get excited about. The pre-meal tasters were far better than the actual meal. It wasn't bad, however I won't be rushing back. Noveau cuisine has had its day, Jessica's needs to catch up.

I don't know where other he other reviewers went but last Friday I had a fantastic meal at Jessicas. The staff were friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was just right for an intimate evening for two. The wine list is brief but has some really nice wine on it which I couldn't sample as I was driving. The next time I go I will take a taxi!

Had a romantic birthday meal here and it was lovely. The food was simply divine however the desserts weren't as good as the main meal and starter. Maybe it's because I'm not a big fan of dark chocolate. The atmosphere was good and the service was good. The ladies and gents (acording to my partner) toilets were also spotless. Pricy but brilliant!

The food's good, but when we went in January thay had clearly overbooked at 8 p.m. Service was poor and the staff 'lost contact' with us repeatedly (40 minutes betwen the end of the main and asking for - not being offered - a desert menu). We decided we couldn't wait for coffee and probably won't be back. Even though we booked well in advance, we got the table by the toilets.

excellent food in average surroundings. on booking ask not to sit beside the kitchen door. at least 3 tables are in a completely inadequate location - busy and noisy with a continually swinging door.
