I went there for dinner with my wife last week and we ordered from the a la carte menu though the buffet was on offer.

The restaurant was comfortable, the service prompt and helpful and and most importantly, the food was first class. My only criticism is that I would have preferred slightly smaller portions of each dish so there was room to have more of them.

My big brother and I ate here on Friday, 31st July and loved it, had the £12.95 buffet, which isnt really a buffet at all, in fact calling it a buffet is like calling Gordon Brown a witty, charming ,popular Scotsman, in other words its a complete misnomer, what it is , is" an all you can eat selection of superb, freshly cooked, Chinese food" but I suppose that "buffet " has a better ring to it, as does my mobile phone now I have down loaded the Fleet Foxes onto it. Enough said, my advice is that if you want Chinese food in Brum, dont go to China town , head for Johnnys, staff were great too, especially the Malaysian girl, who we think smiled once at our banal humour, but was that just a trick of the light??

Johnny Wongs is an excellent restaurant, were i received superb food, service, atmosphere & a great value for money. I would recommend this to anyone interested in this wonderful restaurant.

Excellent food, have been going since the day it opened! Buffet menu is excellent as it is all cooked fresh for the individual - am going tonight and cant wait as I've never been let down there yet.

Please please try here as a buffet place before your try anywhere else even if youve been else were go here, absolutely 100% perfect, either buffet eat and order as much as you want for £13.95 or order off the menu, 5***** the best in The UK x

The this the best chinese resturant in birmingham the food is exellent and I really enjoy it. I have a big fan of chinese food this the the BEST!!

This restaurant does a a buffet menu with a difference. You order as many dishes as you like, which are them freshly cooked for you and brought to your table. The food is fabulous and the buffet menu is cheap only £15.

There is also an a la carte menu as well, where you pay for each indiviual dish that you order.

There is a small car park at the rear of the restaurant. Booking on a Saturday is advisable.
