The best Iranian Resturant In Birmingham. The food and the service are both great. In addition to the decor it makes this place a must to visit.

My husband and I visited tonight, and both agreed that we had quite good food. My husband ordered lamb kebab, which was very tasty, though a bit like an Indian shish kebab. I had a traditional lamb stew with split peas, aubergines and pickled limes. This was very good, very different, but a tad too lime-y for my taste. The hummus was excellent and fresh, saffron rice was delicious and savory, and the Iranian bread was lovely light and airy. The staff are warm and friendly, and the decor is nice and welcoming. As mentioned, it is a small restaurant, but it feels quite lovely and cozy, not cramped. As a side note, although we didn't try it, they did offer sheesheh (sp?), the traditional water pipe. We thought that was really quite cool, and the smoke is surprisingly pleasant. Overall, a nice night out, especially for the price- we both split a starter and each had a large main dish for a total of only 17.50). Would definitely go again.

I have visited the Shiraz now 20 times at least and I can honestly say never tasted such wonderful food .The atmosphere is great, gentle music in the background, its a small resturant but a delight to visit .We travel from Redditch and have never been disapointed. The owner and staff are efficient and so hospitable,I can highly recommend a meal there to anyone.
