Shangri-La Cantonese

I went to Shangri-La a couple of months ago and had a thouroughly enjoyable meal. The aromatic crispy duck pancakes were devine, to follow we ordered beef with spring onion and ginger and a chicken dish. It was all superb and the waiter was very helpful when I told him of my allergies. The atmosphere is lovely and intimate and I would recomend this restaurant

I have been going to Shangri regularly for nearly 8 years, far longer than any other restaurant. The reason is they have maintained their standards of food and service while others have come and gone. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I'm very happy that finally there's a really authentic Chinese food in birmingham. They do great sze-shiu dishes and already have quite a good reputation within the chinese community.

It quite different from the other chinese restaurant in the Birmingham but it's what we will have at home in china.

The deco of the place is just great, and the serivce is good the manager was really helpful and friendly.

So give it a try if you could take spicy food!!!
