I have eaten here many times and my family have always found the food to be very good, only the odd once or twice have i found some of the veg to be slighly under done. But i suppose some like their veg cooked longer than others do, thats down to personal preferences. As for the staff ... well as a carvery is mainly self service there are not many staff about, but if you do need something i have found them to be always polite and helpful. And where else are you going to eat til your stuffed for $3.25 and it not be junk food?

Great Value Carvery!! a popular choice with families on a budget, or a great home cooked meal for students! and plenty of it. Cooked well, good choice of meats and veg, nice hot tasty gravy, with alternative choices if required. Puds are delicious!! Can experience a short wait for service staff due to popular demand, as always busy. Good atmosphere, waiting staff very accommodating and real homely feel. At £3.25 a weekday carvery, who minds a short wait at the bar. Highly recommended.

you have to buy a drink first to get a ticket to carvery-bar staff are very slow to serve and the staff are very few and far between in the carvery itself.
But on the plus side, the food is quite tasty, with genorous helpings of meat (the usual selection of gammon, turkey, beef)
Not a lot of selection on the veg and if you go early you find that most of the veg seems undercooked.
Overall, its cheap and filling, staff are slow & if you do spot one, theyre not exactly friendly, but at £3.25, i suppose its worth it
