West One

My wife and I ate at West One recently and were very impressed by the standard of food and service. We enjoyed 3 courses of very high quality food, which was very well presented.

We selected from the table d'hote menu, which was excellent value.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the level of service was first class.

We shall both be recommending the restaurant to our friends and will definately be visiting again soon.

I have eaten at West One 4 times during the last couple of months having been introduced by a freind who lives locally. On all occasions the menu has changed and has without fail been superb.

The set meal is fantastic value for money with every dish being first class.

The staff are all lovely and welcoming and although I have always been midweek when it has not been very busy, we have never been made to feel uncomfortable or that you have to hurry up and finish. I cannot understand why it is not packed even midweek.

I would recommend anyone to try this and tell their friends as I have, so that this will continue as they really deserve to succeed.

I visited West One in Hagley with my partner in February, and the service, quality of food and value for money is outstanding. One of the best meals we have ever had. Last week I recommended it to a colleague, who has been, and he agrees with every sentiment. It really is "Masterchef" quality in every way. I cannot understand why the place isn't packed every night, because if you can find better quality food and at a better price elsewhere, I'd like to know where.

I'm going again tonight.

I ate at west one restaurant with a group of work collegues.

We were greeted and took to a table straight away.

I was suprised to find this hidden gem in hagley.

The food came out prompt and I was took back by the presentation of the dish, and it tasted fantastic too!

We had sorbet for dessert and it was the best thing i have ever ate! It was amazing!!!

The service was excellent and its somewhere I will be recomending to friends and family!

I can't believe that a restaurant like WestOne has been on my back door for a few months and i havn't tryed it before, My husband and I went on thursday night, and we were blown away, the food was the nicest I've every eating and at only £18 for 3 courses with wine, it was superb. We saw a sample menu for a traditional Sunday roast lunch so we will be booking ourselfs in with a few friends to enjoy this hidden treasure on our doorstep,

I recommend this to everybody to try it, you won't be let down

I have to say that the meal I had at West One last night was the best meal I have ever eaten. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and I couldn't fault the service.

I was especially impressed with the dessert, which was a sweet lemon tart with a green apple sorbet. It finished what was an unbelieveable meal off superbly.

I will definately be returning and would urge anyone that hasn't been to go and sample the food.

Myself and four friends dined here on a Sunday afternoon. The quality of the food is outstanding, and all sourced locally!

Even though it was quite busy, each course did not feel as though the staff preparing had rushed the job as I have found in some busy restaurants - an absolute delight!

I will DEFINATELY be visiting again, and highly recommend to all!

My wife and I visited West One for our lunch last Sunday, this being our second Sunday lunch visit in three weeks and we have also enjoyed a meal with several members of our family on one Saturday evening within the past six weeks.

On each visit the food has been excellent, my wife states that she has never eaten better food at any restaurant before! We have been married over 40 years and eaten at many establishments over those years including some of the UK's leading restaurants and five-star hotels so this is rich praise indeed!

Our Sunday lunches have been of the highest quality and we have, to date, eaten both the pork and beef dinners - it is hard to pick the winner!

We are returning again three more times before Christmas with various friends and family and we have no doubt we shall enjoy those visits as much as our previous ones.

The staff are first-rate and very obliging, the surroundings are pleasant, the restaurant is very comfortable etc etc etc.

We sincerely hope that the business continues to offer the same very high level of food and service and we look forward to many future meals there!

Have just visited West One for the second time in a month. The food is so well presented and tastes delicious! This week we started with Leek and Potato soup followed by belly pork and we shared desserts! The lady who served us at the table was very polite and chatted with us, In fact the last time we went we had apple and blackcurrant crumble served in a glass which i reckon was one of the nicest sweets I have ever had!!
