i've eaten in this resteraunt many times and the food has always been fantastic the staff are friendly. they seem to be better at making the more traditional dishes like madras and massalla which is great if you have a old fashioned palate.
however the only points that let this place down is that it's hidden away in the corner of town which no doubt effects their custom and the decor is very dated also it's not wheel chair friendly as you have to climb a mountain of stairs to the resteraunt area apart from that it's a alround great place to eat.

As with the previous review, I've been a number of times. The rest has been in themiddle of the town for a number of years, but I think it is suffering from local competition. In need of updating in the decor. Food Ok and the overall service is good, quick, and pleasant.
But it suffers from a difficult flight of stairs (you need crampons).

I went here with some friends after a 'few' in Wetherspoons! It's tucked away at the top of town and presumably loses out a bit to the fancy modern curry house down the road, never been there but I guess you get plates and knives and forks there, no no no! I want orange fingers for the next 3 days! It has a peculiar layout as you wait in a small downstairs area then are escorted upstairs, not that disabled friendly sorry! However, the food was lovely, service good and the lemon sorbet was served in a real lemon (I don't get out much!) The only down point was that we were sat by this woman who sounded like an umpa lumpa but I guess she won't be there all the time. But best of all was the house lager Bhangla served in huge bottles mmmm! recommended.
