Liaison Restaurant

We have just had the worst experience for some time, having visited Liaisons restaurant on what was supposed to be a special occasion. The service was poor, initially when seated we had to wait quite a while before a drinks order was taken. The restaurant had a limited number of menus and we had to wait 15 minutes until we received a menu. With regards to the main course it was mentioned that the food was luke warm and this was ignored and an apology was not forthcoming. We were not asked if we required any more drinks and had to prompt the waitress for refreshments. We were recommended to visit this restaurant, rest assured we will not be recommending this establishment.

What a find! My partner and I wanted to celebrate his birthday by going for a classy meal. After trying and failing to book one of the few local Michelin restaurants in the midlands, I found Liaison Restaurant on line and was impressed by their menu, and the reviews. We had a lovely evening, very relaxed, fantastic service - and the food was fabulous. Each course was presented perfectly, and the flavours were exquisite. Our only concern was how few people were dining there on a friday evening - we will certainly be visiting again and would encourage anyone to try this restaurant. It is certainly a local Birmingham restaurant that locals need to support!

From our experience this has to be one of the best restaurants in the region. The food is out of this world. The menu changes frequently so each time you visit there is something new and exciting to try. Gourmet evenings are a must. Value for money is excellent and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. If you are looking for something really special Liaison is the place to go. You will not be disappointed!

having eaten several times at Liaison together with friends and family, we have never been disappointed.Some of our parties have had food allergies, likes or dislikes and the staff have always obliged with our requests.

The owner shows particular care towards her clients and tries to ensure

they receive the best food and service her establishment can offer.

We started going to this restaurant after several people had recommeded it,

we now pass our recommendations on.

My husband and my three eldest children, actually went to Liaison Restaurant to have a great night out with a meal, to celebrate my husband's 45th birthday. My eldest son, Nicholas (14) has a severe nut allergy, and I had tried to explain this to the staff at the restaurant, but it seemed that none of the staff could speak any english let alone fluently. Just when I thought that they'd understood, they had bought over this rather ghastly dish of some sort of pie with nuts. I was appalled, and I asked to speak to the manager, etc. I tried to sort it all out, and I am pleased to say that although we resolved the issues, we will unfortunately never be attending that certain restaurant ever again.

The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming, but it was one of the worst birthdays that my husband has had to experience - thanks to the Liaison Restaurant.
