We have visited the Robin Hood on several occasions. On each occassion we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff. Both service and food are very good. We have both promised ourselves something other than a carvery next time, but, to be honest it's soooo delicious that we will no doubt have it on the next visit!
The meat is cooked to perfection and theres a great choice of FRESH vegetables. No dry stuffing balls at the Robin, i couldn't make better myself! (same is true of the tasty gravy) Only minus is the huge yorkshires which are rather dry and difficult to cut. If you're not weight watching, do have dessert...they are to die for.
I dont have kids myself but i did notice they too were made welcome.
We would like to stay for a couple of drinks in the bar; unfortunately as single ladies we are always put off by the clientele propping up the bar. Please Toby, can you move your customers away from the bar area?
