Buonissimo

after 2 years in Brum, and having tried many places, I haven't had many pleasant surprises. Generqally, the food was average or overpriced, or noth. Buonissimo, however, is the first good restaurant I found. One of the few islands of good food in the Brum culinary desert. I would certainly recommend it.

Beautiful food at all times, whichever menu there is on. The atmosphere is traditionally Italian and the small tables with many people give an intimacy that cannot be achieved in many restaurants.

Good food, but often really busy and they have a tendency to put too many people on very small tables. Desserts are sometimes disappointing.

Very pleasant smallish Italian with an authentic feel.

A very small, intimate restaurant down a Harborne side-street. Buonissimo serves expertly prepared and very authentic Italian food; in fact it may come as a surprise for those more used to Americanised pizzas and pastas. These dishes zing with the flavours of garlic and herbs. You may find the atmosphere lacking if you prefer a lively and upbeat vibe, as Buonissimo is often very quiet.
