Cardamom Indian Cuisine
your comments review this restaurant
For sheer value Cardomom may well be unbeatable in Birmingham. For starters try the tandoori fish (trout) starter or, if you want something low calorie, the vegetable stuffed pepper. Main courses, best chosen from the chef's specials, are quite delicious though they may seem a shade small for bigger eaters. A good idea may be to have some vegetable side dishes as well. These are most unusual for Indian (Bangladeshi) restaurants in not being overcooked and, like the meat courses, not swimming in ghastly gee-laden sauce. Delightful boiled basmati rice is available without added oil, unlike the oily pilau rices that you normally have to buy in baltis if you prefer basmati to cheaper varieties.
Though there is now a licence, many customers still bring their own drinks, a facility that has traditionally given many baltis/Indians a big advantage over their competitors, that is you are not forced to drink indifferent wine. Service is extremely polite and attentive. Food is a liittle slower coming out than is customary in this kind of establishment but this is always a price that must be paid if you want properly prepared food.

I eat in Cardamom i thought it was going to be good, but i was really dissapointed because of their service the waiters were not friendly or the chef, the food was out of date also found hair in the grill mix. I would'nt recomend any one to feel unexcepted the way i felt.
