I can not fault Valentino's. This is real Italian food, real Italian atmousphere and a real pleasure to dine. I have been going to Valentino's for twenty years now and although it changed hands three years ago, I have not been disappointed. I am always warmly greated by the staff and I have always had good food and wine. I have visited Italy several times - I simpy love it ! Valentino's is the nearest to real Italy you will find in Birmingam.

Went to Valentino's on an impromptu night out, and this was the only place with a table. From the outside it doesn't look fantastic, I think the other Italian further along looks more appealing, also thought the menu looked quite pricey for Harbourne High St.
However, the food was absolutly fantastic!!! We were given loads of space, were not rushed in the slightest, the service was excellent. The food tasted really fresh. It was such a suprise as I had often walked past without a second glance but will definatly be returning when next in the area. i though it was great for a special night out, and as a Londoner, I don't think I have ever had food so good in a similarly priced restaurant in the Capital. It is well worth a visit and far better value for money for the food than the restaurants round the Mailbox or Brindley Place.
