I ate at Zizzi Restaurant about a month ago and, i have to say that i thoroughly enjoyed myself. The staff were all polite, outgoing and friendly, the food was great, the prices are suitable and the decor is beautiful. The candles were lit and the music was at a perfect level. I had the garlic bread with mozzarella and caramalised onions to share with my partner, and this was delicious. For my main meal, i had a pasta with chicken, peppers, gorgonzola, broccoli etc. which was cooked in the oven with melted cheese on top, it was lovely. Finally, for my dessert i had the Banana Waffle with vanilla ice cream, which was amazing.

I would definately reccommend Zizzi in Harborne as it is good food at a good price.

I ate here at the beginning of this year with my fiance and we were both very impressed. The decor and atmosphere are very impressive, there was a real buzz about the place. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we were seen to straight away and seated quickly, even given a choice of where we would like to sit as we were there quite early.

We ordered our starters and mains which were the goats cheese bruchetta and chicken pesto and for the mains we both had an italian chicken breast wrapped in parma ham on a bed of mushroom risotto. The starter came quickly and was very impressive, both in presentation and taste.

There was sufficient time between the 2 courses so we did not feel we were being rushed, but on the other side we didn't feel there was a long wait either. The main course was delicious and couldn't be faulted. We were asked about 10 minutes after finishing our mains if we wanted the dessert menu which we did and I highly reccommend the chocolate cookie cheesecake, it is heaven on a plate.

In a nutshell, the service was excellent - friendly, polite and all in a sufficient amount of time. The food was presented very well and tasted devine. I can highly reccommend Zizzi at Harborne, in fact we are going back next week for my fiances birthday.

I think this restaurant is over priced, and over rated!, on my visit i found 2 hairs in my food and the staff did not seem to care! i wouldn't go again!
