The Ellora Curry Centre

The best Indian restaurant I've been to for ages. The food is absolutely out of this world. It makes you a new person after you come out of there. The service was brilliant, all the staff are so friendly, smiling all the time and always attentive at all times asking if everything is ok. I'd recommend people to try the Ellora and judge for themselves. Keep it up Ellora crew.

ellora is THE BEST Indian restaurant I have ever been to and I have been to approx 50 as well as knowing many Indian cooks so although I am white and western my diet is largely Indian food. This place is amazing, you get treated practically like a celebrity when you go, the staff move your chair for you, arrange your napkin etc and all tables have real fresh flowers. The cutlery and plates are always spotless too which is rare these days!

people imagine an Indian to be basically just curry, which is not the case here. The menu is huge and has dishes for everyone (my 6 year old loves the food)

you have to try the vegetable Norma. Forget your uncle bens rubbish pungent sauces, this is the dish to end all dishes-I have bought family members here who were adamant they hated 'curry' but after tasting the korma they have had the same dish every week ever since. We go 3 times a week with different friends and they all agree it is the best restaurant they have ever been to. Even the bouncer who is there late at weekends is lovely and holds the door open for you, and if you don't go for the ridiculously cheap buffet on Sundays a family of 3 can eat comfortably, including drinks for less than 25 pounds. Can't rate this place highly enough-just make sure you book as it is usually very busy.
