The Thai Village

We had a party of 10, so we were hoping that we would be well looked after.

The service was slow, the mixed starters were not very appetising and tasted like they had been cooked the day before. Bland & Rubbery.

The main course was Ok, but very small portions and they forgot to bring the rice. At £30 per head it was poor value.

I went to Thai Village last night with friends. Food was great (esp the Thai Green Curry) - just what you would expect from a decent Thai. At £20 per head, this was good value. Only downside is that as soon as we had eaten, we felt rushed to pay and go - restaurant was busy and quite noisy due to a family gathering. The fact that there was a hurriedness approach from the restaurant management seemed to put a dampener on the evening - we had booked in advance and it was disappointing that within an hour of eating, we felt obliged to leave.

I am such a fussy eater, but went to Thai Village and just loved everything they had onthe menu. I have been back several times, and recommend it. Infact i am going tmw night to celebrate my partners birthday!!

I love Thai Food - I practically live on the stuff, and this restaurant knows how to do great Thai Food.

The decor and atmosphere were lovely. The usual wonderful Thai service you would expect. Try the barbecue prawns to start - you won't regret it.
