La Fibule

Just returned from this restaurant was very dissapointed with the food. Chicken & Lamb was underdone. Had to wait at leat 10 minutes to bring this to waiters attemtion - felt like service was very poor. Table for 2 seating was also crap - small table, with a cold draft coming in from the window. The lady that appeared to be the manager was also stuck up and more concerned with the larger tables rather than a table for 2.

I went there with my girl friend, i was really really impressed. It was busy and quite noisy at first as its a small place but you soon get into the atmosphere and you dont notice it at all! Ambience was nice and service very attentive. Food was amazing, i didnt know chicken could taste so nice!!! Big hit with the missus as it was a suprise!!

There is only two bookings either 7.30 or 9.30. This is not always convieniant for people. May need to address this in order to attract more people.

Excellent food and friendly service in a laid-back, cosy environment. Fantastic spices and good variety on the menu. My favourite restaurant in Birmingham! And you can bring your own wine.

Helpful service with what was probably the manager enthusiastically explaining the how and what of dishes.The food we had was excellent, although there could have been more variety in the mezze, and represented good authentic moroccan cuisine according to one of our number who knew about these things. Easy to see how some may feel being rushed to leave if at the first sitting

Mediocre food, appalling service, cramped conditions, table for two was too small to accommodate plates, starter dish, wine bottle and glasses - had to use the floor!

It was a busy Saturday night, when we booked we were not informed there were 2 sittings and we were rushed through our meal by impolite staff. Will definitely not be going back!!VERY disappointing.

Outstanding service...friendly but not over familiar. Professional, but not snooty. The food and atmosphere is outstanding. Really relaxed..best of all take your own wine. Never been to morocco so cannot judge authenticity but the taste and smells are amazing. Really confused as to why someone wouldn't appreciate it for that. Trust me, I've eaten at the best Birminghams got on offer and this is amazing dining.
