What a fantastic place! Went here for a friends birthday, food gorgeous and reasonably priced, service good and you are able to take your own wine which obviously keeps costs down.

We visited La Fibule as part of a group of 16 people.. We found the service very good and the food great. They proved they can cope very well with large parties despite what the other review says.

La Fibule was a very pleasant surprise. The decor is great, staff helpful, and the food is great quality. The dishes we ordered had delicate flavours, and the meats were done perfectly. Deserts were really well put together, definately a surprise. I read another review where the portion sizes were criticised as being small. I thought they were spot on, we left nothing on the plate, but didn't feel like we'd eaten too much just for the sake of it. Prices are modest, but they're more than a restaurant with take-away business. So they should be though, the food and service are worth paying for here.

being one of a smaller group visiting la fibule i think it is great, but i think as your group gets bigger i think they strugle and are not capeable of the same qualiteys. im afraid if your group is bigger than 4 go else where rather than be as dissappointed as we were.

I have eaten at this restaurant on a few occasions and have in the past thought it to be value for money. I have to say how disappointed I have been on the last two visits. I went with my family a couple of nights ago and we opted to have the meza. We have visited many restaurants together and have had mezain a number of them. Meza are dishes that are brought to the table for you to share and costs per head. In my experience from other restaurants meza is extremely good value for money as food is brought to the table in enough quantity to enable all to eat their fill. However this was not the case at La Fibule, and at £17 a head we felt like we had been robbed. My family and I having spoken with the manager became even more disappointed in the light of his ineffectual defense of the measly amount of food provided and the variety (3 types of meat) which was overall probably 60 or 70% less than what could be reasonably expected. The last visit has proven to me and my family that the staff and management of La Fibule are just 'going through the motions'. The quantity and quality of the food provided has fallen dramatically.

I've visited La Fibule three or four times, most recently about three weeks ago, and have been impressed each time. Not having been to Morocco, I can't comment on the authenticity of the overall experience, but based on my visits, I would disagree with the comments about poor service.

We found the food very tasty - even my mother who generally makes 'safe' menu choices - was impressed by some unusual flavours.....

Value for money could be better - although the main courses were reasonable, the mixed starter (plate for 3) was overpriced for what it was, so next time I go I’ll choose another option.

I’d recommend this to anyone looking for an enjoyable meal somewhere a little different....

Excellent - great evening friendly staff, good service and a fabuluous menu. We went as a party of 8 and everyone had something different. A delightful change and exceptionally tasty menu. Good servings and reasonable prices. Great atmosphere to boot.

Excellent restaurant, food always served by cheerful people.

Talking of the food, it's absolutely fabulous - I've been umpteen times now and it's consistently so....take your own wine / beer and enjoy one of the very best restaurants in Birmingham

I am unable to recommend a dish as they're all great, but maybe start your La Fibule experience with a Tagine - always delightful !

This restaurant doen't represent the real Moroccan restaurant and food and culture and hospitality...the people are not professional...no customer service, no food...everything crap they need just your money ...what a shame to say they are Moroccan restaurant...it is so far to be moroccan...i have been in Morocco many times and i owne my own properties over there...fantastic there...Crap here...i have been twice...expensive and ugly.
