Love the food here. I highly recommend the monk fish. Staff are friendly. Its a little cramp and noises, but the food makes up for it.

The fact that this restuarant isnt licenced means that its a fabulous oportunity to try out a delicious eating experince at an affordable price.

Who doesn't like fabulous affordable tasty spicey italian extravaganor food? My family, friends and I certaintly enjoy the fabulous experience we've had here. I'm a single mum of two beautiful bambinos who've ben treated in the fabulous italian family style making this restaurant a favourite of my girls! The child portions are a little on the large side just as their adult portions are but wouldn't you rather too much than too little?

For grown ups my friends and I have visited many times and always received a warm reception followed by excellant service second to none - if anything as a lady most of us prefer the services an iltalian or east europian waiter provides as they areso much more attentative here! A great good feeling day when your feeling a little low as a female especially!

We had a great starter of tomato and garlic bread followed by spaghetti le mar, with giant tasty prawns and clams a hard dish to get right by most standards - we loved it! Risotto Al Pollo- a great meaty tomatoey spicy dish the aubergines were great!

What can I say about the deserts except who doesnt have a desert in an italian restaurant? They invented deserts didn't they? The profiteroles are to die for with chocolate and cream inside and out and the creme brulee is nothing more than you'dexpect of perfection!

This restaurant is a must see!

Ive just visited PonteDi Legno for the umptenth time with 3 of my friends. Once again we had our usual garlic bread starter with was delicious and devoured within minutes. We then had our delious main meals of a meaty risolto alpolllo - incredibly tasty, linguinilemar - we all tasted and enjoyed -tagliatelli pollo - great taste= very tomatoe tasty and spicy. The deserts were a taste sensation full of chocolate crean and sauce the profitoroles were fabulous!

The service is second to none - great for any single women looking for a little itlaian male confidence theraphy. Doesn't matter what you look like these waiters will make you all feel extra special!

Much better value for money than Little Italy you take your own wine here but the meals themselves are so much tastier and considerably cheaper than little Italy! Take note guys!

Have been here to eat twice now once as a couple and once as a group. Both times were very enjoyable, the service was very good and the food was excellent both times. The garlic bread is to die for but to be quite honest so is everything else. There is no licenced bar but this is a plus in my opinion as you are only paying for your food which is great value for money. very busy restaurant which is always buzzing and would highly reccomend.

thursday evening, we telephoned and booked a table for two for saturday night. we arrived to find no record of our reservation. there were no apologies, no smiles, though we were told that there was no problem and that a table would be found, we were made to feel that they were doing us a huge favour?!.... with nowhere to wait or sit, we were left standing more or less in the middle of the restaurant. we were feeling uncomfortable and started to feel that we were getting in the way (restaurant is very small and cramped). after 15/20 minutes with no communication from any of the staff who were busy dashing around, we asked how much longer we would have to wait (remember this problem was created by restaurant/whoever took booking) again no smile, no reassurance, no politeness. we were grunted at, and told that as soon as the couple on the table in the corridor area, right next to the kitchen/service area of the restaurant had paid, we would be seated. this is not the first time we've had problems with reservations made at ponte di legno, although this experience, coupled with the bad attitude of the front of house staff was by far the worst.

This restaurant was reccomended by a friend, and well worth it. The food was very nice. the prices are resonable and portions a big. The staff were nice and the owner was even present getting stuck into serving people. Its is a loud place as the kitchen was close to where we were sitting. I would go again and have already reccommended it to friends.

I am so looking forward to my next visit T Ponte Di Legno. It is my favourite restaurant - always consistently brilliant. As soon as you step inside, the aroma of gorgeous cooking makes a huge impact! The food is wonderful and the service always efficient and friendly no matter how busy they are!
