This building is now a Pub & Carvery serving 3500 meals a week at the

outstanding price of £3.50 all day monday to saturday 11.30am till 9.00pm

and £6.50 on sundays. the food is fantastic quality for the price and the staff are very friendly , the bar prices are reasonable too.

everytime we go sheldon hall, its usually great, but the latest time we went, food was appalling, My Sister ordered around 5 things, and they had none.

I was also utterly shocked they had no puddings, except for one; vanilla ice cream (and charged at £3 for two scoops!!)

I dont know if they had a bad day, but my family were generally appalled.

We shall not be returning, as we find harvester (just down the road) better value for money, Tastier, and they actually have some food we want!!! ;]

Carters are a respected company local to sheldon hall and have on previous occassions eaten here we hold leaving do's and general party type meetings here as well as daily visits.

We normally find sheldon hall accomodating and friendly, we appreciate that at xmas it is very busy and you need to recruit extra staff or use existing staff to serve the tables.

The general quality of the food was appaling, almost all of the guests at our table left the vegeatables especially the sprouts, ammunition for paint ballers? the general feeling was cold veg, badly presented waiter/wiatress service, the sweets where average starter was ok, but the main courese wa a mess.

We feel that 40 of us will not be eating here at xmas again and unless we can be assured of quality service and quality food the we will look elsewhere for our festive fayre

i dine at sheldon hall most sundays, i really do enjoy a lovely sunday roast, it's better than a cavrey!! and good value too!

Great Food Great Value and Great Employees!

Really enjoy going down the hall every week, the staff there make the place! Paul (the manager), Janye, Paul's son, Linda, Geoff and Gemma really make that place special!

Its just a Great place to eat!

Me and my partner eat at Sheldon Hall at least once a week.The food is excellent and the service first class.

The Manager (Paul) is helpful and frien ly.

The young ladies who watress for him are amongst the friendliest and efficient restaurant staff i have ever encoutered.

I eat out regularly.(53 years of age !)

It is a pleasure to dine at Sheldon Hall !
