Bamboo House

This dinky chinease is renouned for its takwaway. if fact while we were dining there they were extremtly attentive to the many people waiting for their takwaways... they enjoyed the entertainment of watching us eat while they waited. Our waiter, an old man who seemed like he would drop dead any second, was VERY attentive and hardly left our table. When we asked for the wine list we were asked if we wanted red or white... we said Red and our waiter brought out a choice of 2 wines from MOrrisons. When it came to paying I had to wait in the restaurant while my partner went across to the nearest cash machine as the Bamboo house does not accept cards of any type. A memorable evening.
