Himalaya

The Himalaya was situated where McDonalds now is. I have used the Himalaya for well over 30 years. It has always been a cracking restaurant and the food always excellent. I remember Babu who always used to take a glass from my bottle of white rum. He retired.What a nice man. I miss him and wish him well. All of the staff are such nice friendly people. I have watched them grow from children. Chopin (forgive the spelling I will ask him this evening how its spelt) is a nice guy,I remember him when he was so young. with his oversize suit and bow tie. A magic family. I send you my love, best wishes and many thanks.

I love my curries and i must say this is probably one of the best curry house's i have ever been to, the staff are really friendly, i had a jalfarzi and it was full of fresh onions and peppers, i would defianlty recommend probably the best curry house in the area!
