my husband and family love to go to Saffron's, even though I should go on a little diet, the food is marvellous, We think its the best around for many miles.
Quantity is just right, not too much BUT the quality is so perfect, garlic nan bread is scrumptious.
Well i would'nt go any where else now, South Africian wine is a must
The staff are very friendly, place itself is very clean, you cannot fault it.

The atmosphere & service is excellent, with the food out of this world. We went as a couple & also in a group & made a real night of it. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff.
If you want a balti then stick to your usual curry houses, but if you want something different & more up market then this is the place to go.
I have had the lobster, soooooooooo tasty & made me want to go back for more.
Highly recommended venue.

We went to Saffron yesterday evening. The staff were friendly and the food good and well presented. The restaurant itself is pleasant enough, though it is on its own and the surrounding area lacks interest. Worth a trip though, as there is a good range of dishes, all well priced.

We went for Valentines night 07 and have to say that the service was bad, and that's being polite. On a busy night, they should have had more staff on. The food was satisfactory, a little bland and definitely overpriced. Decor was simple but nice and tables perhaps a little too close and too small, especially for a tall person. Had to order a drink & the bill 3 times before we got it. Having said this the staff were very friendly.

We love eating at Saffrons. The children love the food. We would rather eat here then any indian restaurant in birmingham city centre.
Both the vegetarian and non vegetarian food is excellent. The food tastes like home made food.
Service is lways fast and excellent. Decor is to our taste.Every time we have any friends around we always recommend Saffron's.

I love Saffron's food. They always have a good range of food and it's very high quality. The food is based on what you'd get in top restaraunts in India, with regional input. In terms of price, it's more than paying for a Balti but no where near as expensive as restaraunts in Birmingham City Centre, but just as good.

This place is in the middle of nowhere. It is a house converted into a restaurant. The decor is reasonable. The starters are well over-priced with tiny portions. Chicken breast seems to be rationed and the chef agreed to swap 4 parts of the starter for 1 chicken breast-ridiculous! Main courses are again very expensive and there is excessive use of food colourings in almost all dishes. The nan breads are very small and are crspier than pappodums! Only positive is a large indian fish menu since head chef is from Calcutta. Otherwise nothing special.
