This is walking distance from my house - one of the reasons I first went there. But now I go because the food is yummy. I used to go there many years ago when they did a lovely BEEF Rogan Josh but it closed down and seemed to be closed for years and then it re-opened about 12 months ago I think. In the interim, I had taken to eating at Shapla Rani, across the road from it, which was good - but now that Shabab is open again, I go back there. In fact, I hadn't realised just how good the food was til I went back there!

Ive eaten at many many indian restaraunts in Birmingham, Harborne, Selly Oak etc.
But I now only eat at two inprticular, One is Maharaja on Hurst Street, the other is the Shabab Tandoori. The latter is amazingly low in price and offers superb food and friendly service, I eat here once or twice a week with either friends or my girlfriend. I really enjoy the food which is leagues the usual ribbish found in other indian eateries.
