The Belle House is in lovely, unspoilt Pershore and occupies a gorgeous Georgian building. The the dining room is filled with comfy, high-backed Lloyd Loom chairs and looks great. The downside is the lack of soft furnishings to absorb sound, meaning the busy chatter of a full dining room ricochets around the room.
In my book, it scores highly for tasty food that is beautifully presented. I met some friends for lunch on my birthday and it really did feel like a treat!
The letdown was the service. Cold, unsmiling staff served us, so that we didn't feel overly welcome.
