Recommend Lamb Tikka Masala, akrams is brilliant I have eaten there for years unbelievably good service despite the bad reviews of others

I have used this place for several years as has all my family. The service has been good and the staff have been helpful in all aspects. My last visit tey even replaced my leftovers with a complete new meal.

I was absoloutely discusted with the service here. I went here for a meal with two of my friends and i couldn't beleive it. They were really rude throughout the whole meal and when we came to pay the bill it wasn't left on our table like normal, the waiter actually held it infront of my face and waited while i paid it. I would not reccomend anybody going here. Also after i'd just paid for my meal and stepped outside i just nipped back in to use the loo, and the waiter said that he could not let me back in and then started closing the door on me, crushing me! I was FURIOUS! Please nobody ever go here it is most unpleasent and the staff are unbeleivably rude! The food isn't very good either.

food very bland, very hard to distinguish different meals, all looked and tasted very similar, used to go alot because friends liked the place, but wont be going again as when paying by card i was asked by owner if i would add a bit extra as a tip.i always give a tip but in cash as it is supposed to go to the staff on £5 per hour, not to fund the road tax on owners merc.rant over

This was of the worst dining experience in my balti carear, went to the akrams an was taken with some freinds who regularly dine there when we got there the popodoms were soggy an wernt crispy when requested to have them changed the waiter took his time an im certain he brought back the same ones jus warmed up in the micro??

when it came to the appertisers i was impressed with the chicken tikka but it was cold i mean FREEZING cold in the middle, the to dissapoint me the main course was the akram seafood special which was gravey covering the seafood didint bother complainning as the waiters wernt bothered

I have lived in Stirchley for many years and the Akrams was comfortably the worst dining experience I have had in Birmingham - or anywhere else really. Food was mediocre, atmosphere poor - particularly the lighting which felt more like being under a sunlamp than anything else. Staff were uniformly smart but rude - must be a house style.

I've been to Akrams a few times and the food fails to please, the atmos is always rush rush! With very cocky waiters who tut while they are taking an order phone rings in there pocket while taking an order to an they have time to check a text.

The service is, if not friendly, then at least quick - the food always arrives hot and on time and it's very cheap. The decor is tatty.

Very tastey food, excellent value for your money. My husband and I enjoy eating there and we absolutely LOVE the peshwari nan, we drive 15 miles to go to pick it up to take home to eat. Yummy!!!! We've tried many other asian food restaurants but they just dont quite hit the standard we have become accustomed to with Akram's. Well done.

fantastic resturant my personal favorite in the area

staff are very friendly and dont rush you like other places

the quality of the food it excellent and you get a good lot for your money which by the way is very resonable (under £10 with a soft drink)

the place is kept in very good order

all in all i highley reccomend this place
