Angelo's Restaurant

I booked a table for two for Valentine's Day this year. I booked it on the request of my partner, who amongst hearing good review is a West Brom Albion Fan!! When we arrived I must admin that I was slightly dishearted by the look of the restaraunt and didn't have high hopes for the food. However the food was amazing despite the fact that the resteraunt was packed and we were ordering from a set menu, my partner had a steak and despite the fact he's incredibly fussy about the way it's cooked it came out perfect, you could have cut it with a butter knife!!!

Not only was the food fabulous but the entertainment for the evening was just perfect. Ok so the overall bill was slightly more than expected but for the fantastic food, service and entertainment recieved I was more than happy to pay! I would recommend Angelo's to anyone who asked!!!!

I ate food here last night and have to say I thought the food was terrible.

The atmosphere in the resturant, and the service was ok. It was the worst Italian food I have ever had.

The starter of bruschetta was just a packet part baked loaf, with fresh tomatos and just loads of raw garlic. No pasley or seasoning.

For main course, i had mussels with wine, however what turned up was mussels with spagette and tomato sauce, which once again had no flavour, all i could liken it to was a tin of spagette hoops. My girlfiends had a dish of filled pasta with ham, once again, no seasoning on this at all.

The wine we had was nice though and it didnt cost to much. However, if you are looking for a decent meal, stay away.

careful, kind and fast staff, food is excellent, try this restaurant and you'll go away very satisfacted and then it's authentic in everything coz apart delicious authentic food cooked from italian chefs u can even meet real italian! i love this restaurant, it's not very big but this is the best part coz the atmosphere is so good that u feel at home!

I have been to this restaurant on several occasions and have never ever left disappointed. Some may say the service is a little slow but to be honest when your with friends you don't need to be rushed. Highly recommend the lasagne, it's the best I have ever tasted.

Lost it's sparkle under new ownership. hard avacado, too salty sauces, no serviettes and not even offered coffee!

Staff were pleasant but rushed, complained about the starter (refunded) but staff too busy to ask about mains, despite one being almost entirely left.

just after the money?

Fantastic atmosphere in this small but excellent Italian restaurant. We have eaten here on special occasions for the last twenty years. The service is excellent and the food - well its to die for. Can also recommend their Bolaro red wine - perfect to go with the excellent starters, deliciously rich main course and the variety of sweets on offer. The charm of the place really makes for an extra special evening.
