The Park Tavern

The food here is excellent and fantastic. Monday to Saturday they do two meals for £5.95 off a selected menu. My friend opted for the chicken and bacon salad. Which was piled to the top of the plate served with coleslaw and two thick slices of garlic bread. I went for the mediteranean tagliettle which was gorgeous and very filling again served with two slices of garlic bread. We also ordered a side order of chips which was a big portion for the price. For pub food you'd be hard pressed to find anything better. The staff are also very kind and down to earth.With live sport on matchdays it also has a fantastic atmosphere.
