Ye Olde Toll House

I have eaten at the Toll House on a number of occasions and have always had an enjoyable meal. The food is excellent with the best lobster thermador I have ever eaten. The restaurant has been slightly refurbished but still needs to have the toilets updated. My only complaint is the car park isn't big enough!

Fantastic place!

Good food. Honest and knowlegable staff who can't do enough to please. A rare example of a local resto with interesting ingredients and a superb wine list.

Inspiring and well planned menu with a good choice of specials provide a good balance between traditional and contemporary cuisines. Good choice of fish and interesting accompaniments.

The wine list is comprehensive and the descriptions make choosing very easy if your not much of a buff but like a nice glass. Even the house wine choice is great.

I have been to this restuarant on many occassions and usually have the all inclusive 5 course meal. Food is georgous and staff are lovely, I would reccomend anyone to go for a special occasion. Also reccoment the beef wellington and the cheese and biscuits.
