food lovely but this time service was very disappointed!!!!!!!

We arrived with a miserable welcome by the waiters, and through out our meal nobody approached us if all was ok, even though the meal turn out wonderful there was plenty of staff tossing and turning, one of them was busy looking in the mirror instead.

i would consider going back but i hope SERVICE WILL IMPROVE..

Arrived without welcome, coats not taken, no offer of a drink. Left waiting without a menu. Inadequate seating in waiting area.

Starter with lobster and scallops. No recognisable lobster and the scallops were overcooked and rubbery.

Sardines, described as chargrilled - were not.

Fillet of Beef Rossini, cooked in gooseFAT (not butter) and COOKED shavings of fois gras which resulted in a dead, grey, jellied mess on TOP of overcooked beef. No steak knife offered.

Prosecco - not chilled. Had to explain twice that an ice bucket should contain ICE.

Inattentive staff who argue with customers and will try to make you pay for food sent back on the proviso that they believed 'there was nothing wrong with it' despite admitting they had never actually had Beef Rossini.

Good restaurants don't do this.

This restaurant believes it is something it clearly is not.

I dined at Bella's once only, and do not plan to go back. I am Italian and know what Italian cuisine looks and tastes like - and am very sorry to say that what I found at Bella's was very disappointing. Although the service was excellent, polite and attentive, the food was awful to say the least, not to mention ridiculously overpriced. Those who say it's a good place to eat clearly do not know Italian food.

Sorry, but in my opinion, while this restaurant is a really nice place and the staff is extremely kind and efficient, the food is just terrible, absolutely not in line with the quality and tastes of the Italian dishes. Also, I think the place is really overpriced, especially considering the quality. Not recommended, there are better places in the area if you just want to enjoy some good Italian food.

Have eaten at Bella on quite a number of occasions and have always had a wonderful evening. The menu is always interesting with a broad range of dishes. The restuarant is modern with a great atmosphere, whether you're there for a romantic meal for two or with friends. Staff are very attentive. The only slight negative point is that the acoustics of the room can sometimes make it a little difficult to hear conversation on the table if in a group. Apart from this small point, I would highly recommend Bella to anyone who is looking for a "top end" evening meal.
